Volume I, Number 2 September, 2005

Leaders build frameworks into which followers contribute and from which both leaders and followers grow. These frameworks are structures based on values. Values are those principles upon which leaders and followers agree. They are unalterable, rock-solid, unmoved by circumstances and blowing winds of change.
If you are the leader, what are your values? Do your followers know them and can your people articulate them? Even more important, do you and your follower share full agreement on their presence and application?
For an example of a list of primary values, view CTRG's Values, Vision, Mission and Message.
Create your values list. Define them clearly. Articulate them freely. Seek agreement from your followers on them constantly. Strive to live by them daily. Lead with them consistently—show those who look to you for leadership how important values are through your declaration and example.
