Volume I, Number 9 April, 2006

Leaders craft strong relationships with followers when they make quality decisions about their follower's successes. Through these decisions solid and lasting relationships are formed and functions flourish.

Leaders do not "own" successes for their followers, nor should they. Leaders create frameworks in which followers paint designs for personal and group achievement. Frames are constructed of the values and vision upon which leader and followers agree. The leader provides the palette, brushes, and instruction, and guides the followers as they draw the pictures, accomplishing their missions, achieving their goals.

When finished, the framed pictures portray messages of wholeness and excellence. Masterpieces emerge when leader and followers work together. For which followers are you constructing a lasting framework of achievement?
