     Nurture is help from the outside in, where the viewpoints the leader shares come from an objective and caring position. Nurture sees what is needed and speaks truth in an atmosphere of relational care, originating from the decision to support another's success.

     Support is assistance from the inside out, where empathy, understanding, and "binding together" form basis points of encouragement and celebration. Support may be easier to give because it simply feels better.
