Motivation

Great leaders are motivated people. They are also motivating people. They receive tremendous satisfaction from their accomplishments and those of their followers. Here’s why: They position wins as realistic possibilities, not insurmountable objectives. Then they work hard to achieve what they want.

Motivation is not hype. It is help. And it is health.

Motivation is the product of being convinced in the validity of the cause for which the team is constituted. It is the winning attitude the team continually chooses regardless of circumstances. It is shared contributions of excellence when no one cares who gets the credit and no one dwells in focusing blame. Motivation is the “force” that combines people and production to generate best deliverables.

People who are motivated openly express desires for success and then make it happen. How motivated is your team?
