CTRG
believes in re-invention of methods no matter what. Leaders set the paces for the next phases and
places they want their organizations to achieve. They do this not just to respond to change,
but to initiate it.
True
change motivation comes from embracing this central truth: People are more
important than production and relationships come before and give birth to
function. Remember: a relationship is
the decision one makes about another’s success and function is the task that
proves the validity of the relationship.
Certainly
change is pushed from outside influences and these should not be ignored. But motivation for real change originates
from causes that are deeper than external stimuli. This motivation comes from making improved
decisions about the success of the team on which you serve and the organization
for which you work. This motivation is
born of desire, not default.
Real
motivation regularly asks hard questions of leaders and teams. Consider these examples:
How
willing is this team to consider alternate methods if shown that changing
means would be beneficial?
What
would make our team better in relationships and functions?
How
can we perform with greater excellence?
What
are the new relational decisions that will move this team forward?
Assemble
your team, ask and answer the tough questions, and re-invent yourself.
